Wedding Statistics for the Months to come...

Every month has a different appeal for many women especially when it comes to choosing the right time to plan a wedding. There are many factors involved, both seasonal and economical. Because of this we have put together a range of Wedding Statistics so that you can refer to this for the months to come. January is usually guaranteed hot weather, so choose a gown that is light weight. Although Christmas festivities will be over, some businesses may still be closed or holidays.  Remember that this month also celebrates New Year’s Day and Australia Day. 
Taking photos in the middle of the day may be uncomfortable, try for mid morning or mid afternoon when it is a bit cooler, and the lighting from the sun will be less severe, creating softer shadows.

February is quite a busy month for weddings.  While most of the festive celebrations are over, the weather is still warm making it popular. Think about a gown that is light weight.  All businesses should be opened if they have closed for the holidays. 
Take into consideration what time you’ll be taking your photos as the middle of the day can get quite warm.  Try for mid morning or in the afternoon.  The shadows will be softer then.

Easter is one of the busiest weekends of the year for weddings, so book early. With daylight saving having ended, , the nights will be cool, so it’s a good idea to have a wrap.  It usually gets dark around 6.30 pm.  This month also celebrates Anzac Day, so keep that in mind when making bookings.  Incorporate an autumn theme into your wedding; leave should be falling everywhere in April.

May is certainly a lot cooler during the day and night, especially towards the end of the month as it gets closer to winter.  Think about wearing a gown in a heavier fabric, maybe having sleeves, or wear a shrug or wrap.  Generally, May is not as popular for weddings. You should find it easier to book things in as there is little competition; although it is recommended not to leave it too late.

June, being the start of winter, is usually quieter for weddings, although the June Long Weekend is popular. With the cooler temperature in June it is a good idea to think about wearing a gown in a heavier fabric, maybe having sleeves, or wearing a shrug or wrap.  Incorporate a winter theme into your wedding.  You could create a winter wonderland or snow theme.  The sun goes down as early as 5 pm this month, so keep that in mind when organizing photographs.

September is the beginning of the Bridal Season, and a fairly busy month for wedding, so don’t leave bookings to the last minute.

October is one of the busiest months for wedding. The October long weekend is one of the busiest weekends of the year, so book everything very early for this date. Daylight saving begins at the end of the month.

November is one of the busiest months of the year for weddings. Book suppliers early, particularly men’s suits and hire cars, as school formals and other weddings will be competing for these supplier services. November is popular for good reason—the weather is beautiful, nearly all types of flowers are in season, and the light (for photos) is not as harsh as in January—February.

December is a really busy month for weddings. Grooms wanting to hire suits will compete with boys hiring suits for school formals as well as other grooms, so booking their suits early is recommended, as is the booking of hire cars. Also, there will be a lot of Christmas festivities this month, apart from competing for venues and services, some businesses may even close for holidays.
